Anchor Insulation of Texas provides commercial insulation on HVAC pipe, ductwork, and plumbing piping, as well as heat tracing and firestopping services for new and existing commercial buildings. Gabe Aguilar is the owner of Anchor Insulation and has 20+ years of insulation, construction, and oil and gas experience. Gabe grew up in South Texas and is the proud father of three young children. He is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, where he majored in Environmental Science and minored in Construction Management. After graduation, Gabe went to work for a large, nationwide construction company and worked in Spain, New Mexico, and was ultimately transferred back to Texas. After 13 years in commercial construction, he was drawn to an opportunity in the oilfield, capitalizing on the South Texas oil boom. Gabe returned to the insulation industry, opening Anchor Insulation of Texas after recognizing a void in the market.
Vice President of Operations
Vance Jupe is the Vice President of Operations and oversees the coordination of labor to meet the schedules of our respective projects. Vance was born and raised in Jourdanton, Texas. After graduating from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Construction Science and Management, he went on to run the family business. After working his way to Vice President at Jupe, Co., he oversaw Operations, Health and Safety, Manpower, plus supported efforts in company morale. Vance loves to hunt and fish in his spare time and coach his daughter's Fast-pitch softball team. He's a husband and a proud dad of three girls.
Clint Walter is responsible for the coordination of manpower and materials to complete respective scopes of work. Clint was born and raised in the suburbs of Waco, Texas, and has known Gabe since starting college in San Marcos. He prefers the hands-on approach to his career and prides himself on being present and available to customers. When he's not in the field he enjoys hunting, fishing, and outdoor sports with his family. He's been married for 18 years and has a 12-year-old daughter and twin boys that are 10.
John Caballero joined the Anchor team to handle service and small projects. His insulation experience spans 28 years, starting with Jupe Brothers Insulation in 1994, followed by a 26-year stint with a nationally recognized contracting group, where he was the Program Foreman. His hobbies include fishing, auto projects, and occasionally chasing a little white ball.
Will Mangum was born and raised in Poteet, TX, and has been in the insulation industry for nearly three decades. His career began with a local contractor as a helper, and over the next six years, he worked his way up to a Journeyman. Will then went to work for a nationwide construction company, working his way up a Foreman, General Foreman, and in 2012 was Promoted to Superintendent. He started with Anchor in November 2021 as an Estimator. To relax, he enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, and experiencing new places through travel.
Allyson manages Anchor’s daily office operations, including HR, AP, AR, payroll, and other daily office responsibilities. She was born and raised near Lubbock, TX, and spent thirteen years living on both the East and West coasts, where she worked in multiple industries. She returned to Texas and eventually settled in San Antonio to be closer to her family. Allyson brings well-rounded experience, professionalism, and an overall passion for learning. Outside of work, Allyson enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. As a veteran of the US Army herself, Allyson also enjoys volunteering with veteran organizations, such as Soldiers’ Angels.
As much as he wanted to, we could not let him retire. Rick handles take-off and estimating duties on an as-needed basis. Rick comes with 40+ years of experience in the insulation business. He retired from Jupe Company in 2017 and now lends his expertise to Anchor. He's the proud father of Vance Jupe and has known and worked with Gabe for many years. In addition to estimating, Rick is a priceless resource and offers his guidance and recommendations regarding operations and business in general.
